Each year, community members donate their time, skills and talents to Hood River County Library District’s locations and programs. In fiscal year 2015-16, they logged over 4,000 volunteer hours.

Volunteer Program Information

Here are the steps to become a volunteer:

  1. Review the available opportunities
  2. Interested in volunteering? Fill out the online form below.
  3. After your application is reviewed, you will be invited to schedule a phone interview where you will learn more about the library and volunteering.
  4. The Volunteer Coordinator will work with you to make a placement that fits your volunteer interests.

You can also contribute to the Library District by becoming involved with the following support groups:

Both groups support the library ranging from raising funds for the Library District to volunteering for projects and events.
