Employment Opportunities

Hood River County Library District values its staff and seeks enthusiastic, patron-focused individuals to help carry out its mission, we reach out, supporting everyone to learn, create, and grow. Open positions are posted below. The District accepts unsolicited applications when there are no open positions. Unsolicited applications will be kept on file for six months and will be considered if any positions open during that time.

Salary and benefits

HRCLD offers compensation packages comparable to similarly-sized and situated libraries and government agencies in Oregon. All employees receive sick leave benefits. Employees regularly-scheduled for twenty hours per week or more receive other fringe benefits including medical, prescription, alternative care, vision, and dental insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, vacation leave, paid holidays, and a 403(b) retirement plan.
