Staff are available to proctor exams, whether paper or online, for college, distance, and correspondence courses, at all three locations. Students are able to use the library’s computers or wireless network for online exams. There is no charge for this service.
Any library staff member who works a public service desk can proctor exams. However, if your institution has more specific requirements for proctors, please contact us. Provide as much notice as possible when requesting to proctor exams. Refer to the branch hours for information on available times. Requests can be sent to info@hoodriverlibrary.org or called in at 541-386-2535.
When coming for a proctored exam, please make sure to bring your allowable materials (notes, calculators, books, etc.) as well as your student ID or government-issued photo ID. There is a charge of $1 per page for exams that need to be faxed back to the institution. If exams need to be mailed back, you will need to pay the postage for the mailing.
Those who need to use the Respondus Lockdown Browser for proctored exams should give us as much warning as possible to ensure that we’re able to install your school’s instance of the browser in time for the exam.
