OBOB Meetings
Fridays at 4pm, starting November 21st
Our Children’s and Teen Services Librarians will be hosting drop-in OBOB practice sessions for all Hood River middle schoolers on Fridays from 4-5, beginning on November 21st. Students from all Middle Schools welcome to attend!
Students who are home schooled, or do not have a school team but would like to participate in OBOB are invited to join a team through the Hood River Library.

Painting with Gratitude

Join Emily Martin for an afternoon of gratitude, connection, and watercolor painting. Together, you’ll share stories, enjoy a sense of community, and express thankfulness through a simple and beautiful watercolor art project from the Gorge Art Box. No painting experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a love for slowing down, appreciating what’s around you, and caring for yourself and others.

Teen Winter Break Movie Night

Bring your friends for a chilling winter movie on the big screen in our meeting room. We’ll have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy snacks and a show, so bring your friends!
*Parents: we’ll be playing Edward Scissorhands, a PG-13 rated movie, so please be mindful of our recommended age of 13 and up.

Doodle Club

Come join a low key art club of cool kids Every Friday afternoon 3-4 pm. We will provide drawing supplies but feel free to supplement with your own!

Discover and Go is a partnership between the Libraries of Eastern Oregon, member libraries, and local arts, culture, history, and recreation organizations to offer free educational and cultural experiences to library patrons across the LEO service area.
Discover and Go provides online access to free tickets donated by local cultural attractions. You can visit the Columbia Gorge Museum, High Desert Museum, Maryhill Museum of Art, OMSI, Oregon State Parks (pass is a parking permit covering parking/day use fees), and the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute.
