Gorge Happiness Month: Culture of Appreciation [HR]

October 22, 2018 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 am

Monday, October 22nd, Hood River Library, 7 – 8:30am
Neuroscience show that employees crave 3 things in their workplace: that they are safe, that they belong and that they matter. When these three needs are met, their productivity doubles. Appreciation, done well, works on all three needs. This experiential 90-minute training is designed to help supervisors, managers and Human Resource professionals build stronger teams by evaluating and improving appreciation within their organizations. Participants will understand the economic and personal value of appreciation. They will learn how to give effective appreciation, and will leave with a plan for improving appreciation in their workplace. Heidi Venture is a local consultant who helps organizations and businesses expand their impact and influence through board training, grant writing, strategic planning and communications.   www.heidiventure.com
