Hood River County Library District seeks enthusiastic public service desk clerks who are excited at the opportunity to work at a busy library district.
Public service clerks provide services directly to patrons of all ages at the public service desks at all three library locations and the bookmobile. The individuals in this position must enjoy working with people of all ages, have excellent customer service skills, and be enthusiastic about working in a library. Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. The position reports to the Assistant Director. This position is part-time, 19.5 hours per week, including Saturdays and evening hours.

Yoga For Adults - Extended through March

We are happy to extending our weekly yoga classes taught by Snapdragon Yoga through the month of March.
Open to adults, the program is available as a drop-in course every Saturday at 10:30am through March 30th.

Do you love the library? Here’s your chance to help! The Library Foundation Board is seeking new members. They are one of the fundraising arms of the library. They meet once each month (no summer meetings) and host one big fundraising event each year, The Feast of Words, in the spring.
