The Hood River Library will host a  Death Café on Wednesday, April 26th, at 6:30pm in the Hood River Library Meeting Room. At a Death Café, people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. All Welcome.

The film will talk about the impacts of industrial agriculture and the effects of genetically engineered food. The library will host a series of Citizenship classes conducted at an intermediate level of English by SOAR (Sponsors Organized to Assist Refugees).   Fridays from January 13 - April 28, 10am to 1pm in the Hood River Library Meeting Room.  In this course, students will learn about all components of the U.S. naturalization interview and test.
