The Owyhee River Journals Reading and Short Film

October 19 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join writer Bonnie Olin for a richly-illustrated journey into the canyonlands of the Owyhee River in Nevada, Idaho and Oregon. This discussion and short film is based on her book, The Owyhee River Journals and will take place on October 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hood River Library.

The Owyhee River Journals includes 125 color photos of rarely seen landscapes by photographer Mike Quigley, created over many years of their travels together. The movie features a 2006 expedition into Deep Creek and the East Fork of the Owyhee. The slideshow features the entire river corridor from Nevada to the Owyhee Reservoir. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period and book signing.

This program is free and open to the public. For more information visit http://www.hoodriver library.org or http://www.owyheemedia.com
